I tend to agree about Gamepass impacting sales. However, this has gotten the game back in the news. That certainly does mean some additional sales. I'd think that is likely outweighed by the sales that now won't happen because people would rather wait for it on GP. But, maybe I'm not seeing it right.
As for this being a blunder, how do you know that? It seems possible, but we don't know the terms of their deal.
