He lowered taxes mainly for himself and his rich friends. Other people only get crumbles, anyway the money the money is now missing elsewhere, just lowering taxes is a nice way to get votes, but it drives US even faster towards ruin. Before Trumps election all signs for the US economy were good, now their are spiraling down.
Illegal immigration is no real problem for a nation as big as US, but stiring up fear of immigrants (or "strangers") is an old tactic to distract from real problems.
