Yeah Animal Crossing is going to be one of the biggest games Switch ever gets, that thing is an absolute monster with the casual crowd, I know people who normally would never touch video games who got a DS/3DS for AC.

And personally, I'd rather Nintendo didn't remake/re-release any more old games for Switch. My biggest problem with the platform is that it's flooded with recycled old leftovers from previous generations, it needs more NEW games; don't make Mario Galaxy HD, make Mario Galaxy 3.

Well, they proposed ARMS and Astral Chain, no one buy it. They propose a scandalously shitty Pokemon, 6 millions in 3 days.

Capitalism gives what people buy.

Nothing in your comment made sense and was really a forced "pokemon shield is ****" comment.

Of course a new fighting mostly motion control franchise will sell less than the biggest video game franchise that has a tv show, game cards, hit game app and touched multiple generations. Same goes for Astral Chain that was announced last minute and is pretty niche looking. It apparently did well enought but it also just came out and nintendo is still advertising it online so it will do good in the long run, maybe word of mouth cause you know, new franchise.

So the fact that these sell less than pokemon isn't due to capitalism but just basic knowledge that people are more tempted to buy something they know and already like than something new and different.

Also, i'm 40 hours in Shield and it's my favorite pokemon game since Black/White 2. It is far better than what we experienced during the 3DS era imo and it is a step in the right direction. Idc if there isn't every pokemon in it, the game brings more new interesting stuff to the table than every 3DS game combined.
