Either the Nintendo 64 or the Xbox 360. The former for its amazing line-up of exclusives, and the latter for being probably the best all-around console from its generation.
Honourable mention also to the Wii U; I've made no secret that I consider it to be probably the worst-designed console from any major manufacturer, but I can't deny that it had a great game line-up, and the off-TV functionality was incredibly useful.
