Movements tend to have an impact. In this case S/S is being received well and will sell millions. There was no movement. Don't confuse a legitimate movement with a bunch of internet whiny itches.
I also love the behavior of all the S/S haters.
Step 1: Trash the game relentlessly for months on end
Step 2: Last minute predict a good Metascore that is completely out of alignment with months worth of complaining
Step 3: Buy the game, but make excuses for doing so
