The perspective-warping puzzler Superliminal made a good impression when we previewed it earlier this month: Lauren found it a little more conservative than she expected, especially when compared with the 2014 tech demo (it's been in development for quite awhile), but overall the combination of increasingly abstract first-person puzzle designs and dry, Portal-style humor showed a lot of promise.

Overwatch 2 is kind of an odd beast. It's a sequel—you can tell because of the "2"—but it feels a lot more like an expansion. It's still early in development so a lot of details have yet to be nailed down, but Joanna said in her BlizzCon preview that Overwatch 2's new story mode "looks and feels identical to Overwatch's gameplay," but for the addition of level progression. All the heroes, maps, modes, and cosmetics coming to Overwatch 2 will be playable in the original game, too.
But it's not just a matter of maintaining two games simultaneously: The long-term plan, game director Jeff Kaplan told Kotaku, is to bring them together as one.

Kerbal Space Program 2 is delayed

Kerbal Space Program 2 is going to take a little longer than expected to arrive. It was initially slated to come out sometime during Take-Two Interactive's 2020 fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2020 but the company announced during an investors call today that it won't be around until FY2021.

Some players are still having trouble getting Rockstar's epic cowboy adventure to run on their PCs. Red Dead Redemption 2 mods are probably okay, as long as you stay offline

It was only a matter of time before mods starting showing up for Red Dead Redemption 2, and they're already turning the game's western landscape into a weirder and wilder place. But if you've experimented with mods at all, you'll have seen a rather severe warning in the Rockstar Launcher that says playing the game with altered game files can result in your being banned from Red Dead Online.

The good news is that you're okay to use single-player mods in Red Dead Redemption 2, at least provisionally. Rockstar Games confirms to us that its standing policy regarding mods applies to Red Dead as well.
