The most divisive and contradictory thing about this games review scores are not mostly at fault with the bad scores, but the ones that give it a 100, 95 or 90. Say what you will but when a game reviews even in the 80's I don't expect the much better scores to say the game is boring or tedious and still give it perfect or close to perfect reviews.

Now don't get me wrong the sites that felt they needed to give the game 40's and 30's are just as wrong as well, since scores like that should be reserved for broken and buggy games. But if you want people to buy that these are non biased reviews and the game was held to some type of standard or metric for measuring this game, you can't use words like boring, tedious or slog to describe the game but jump on people because those words themselves sound fairly negative but many scores don't reflect that.

For many years into the future this game will get used to show the hypocrisy of not so highly favored developers making games that may get ridiculed for everything Death Stranding is being scored high for, yet pointed out clearly as negatives.
