Satisfactory dev says Epic Games Store hate comes from 'a loud minority'
https://www.pcgamer.com/satisfactory-dev-says-epic-games-store-hate-comes-from-a-loud-minority/
If you spend any time on the games-focused areas of Reddit, it's easy to come away with the idea that everyone and their mother despises the Epic Games Store thanks to "shady business practices," "anti-consumer bias," and possibly worse. But at least one developer says the anti-Epic backlash is more sound than fury.

Hitman 2's Halloween Escalation Contract is set to go live tomorrow, and developer IO Interactive still hasn't said what exactly it's all about. But today it dropped a new trailer that leans very heavily into classic horror movie themes, with Agent 47 taking the role of the implacable, inhuman masked killer who's come seeking revenge! For... something.

Patrice Désilets, game director of the original Assassin's Creed and, more recently, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, is very sorry for being responsible for all those towers you've had to climb over the last decade.
