Let's see... An elitist white Neocon (yes Hillary is essentially a Neocon with a few probably phony social liberal views) attacking and smearing an American liberal woman of color as a "foreign traitor." Hmmm, who does that sound like again? I sure hope you weren't also condemning Trump for his attacks on Ilhar Omar because that would be mighty hypocritical and I fail to see how this is really different.
And who is the crazy one? Sounds to me like it's the old crazy lady spouting conspiracy theories with no basis and shamelessly attacking a sitting congresswoman and 16-year combat medic of the US National Guard. I mean gee, how would YOU respond if you were unfairly smeared like that? I'd be just as pissed. Shit that was tame, actually. I'd have been FAR more pissed than the response Tulsi gave. She's absolutely in the right to respond in such a way.
Whenever I think maybe it's time to come back to the Dems, that maybe they've regained some honor, shit like this just reminds me that they're still merely a slightly more left wing version of the Republicans at the end of the day - xenophobic, authoritarian, fear/warmongering, corporate elitists Neocons (not talking about their supporters or anyone here necessarily, just mainly the modern-day DNC establishment).

Neolib centrists are absolutely unhinged and becoming increasingly exclusionary by the day. Then they wonder why they're hemorrhaging support and a buffoon like Trump, a reality show celeb can possibly win an election. Their utter lack of self-awareness is astounding to me.
Even many Dems and supporters of other candidates who aren't Tulsi supporters are beginning to see this for the bogus smear campaign and character assassination it is. They've overplayed their hand.. And they've given Tulsi a ton more support and exposure in the process. Thanks Hillary! XD

Honestly, and this might sound a little nutty, but what else am I to believe after the actions of some of these Dems? Been pondering this for some months now. I'm seriously beginning to believe that some of the Neolib Dems are legitimately trying to sabotage their own cause. They secretly WANT Trump reelected. That way they can continue to play the "underdog" role while failing to get much of anything done. They can just deflect any blame as to policies or happenings in our country on him, while maintaining support. But if they reclaim power, then suddenly responsibility, blame, etc all falls on them. They can't have that.
I'm sorry to say but Warren has next to no chance to beat Trump. The guy will absolutely tear her apart. And the dull, centrist Biden, with all his baggage, is a long shot at best.
I mean think about it.. Why the hell of all people would they go after Tulsi? One of the few sensible candidates, and about the one candidate who can draw in support from independents and even some right-wing folks? She's one of the few that can shake things up and bring real positive change and unite people. I honestly think she's the best option to beat Trump, and the Dems just constantly shit on her for no reason. Why?
I mean if she was the nominee and represented the Dem party against Trump, it's not like anyone on the left would vote for Trump against her. They'd rally behind her. Then at the same time, she'd draw many former Trump voters, non voters, independents, etc.. After all, I thought the point was to bring it MORE voters, not alienate them (at least in the general)!
I think these people are legit accepting their role as the "resistance" party. They've grown comfortable in the role. They need Trump as president.
