I support their right to independence, now is that so hard ? I wouldn't have it any other way for Catalonia or Padania ...
By comparison, neoliberal progressives do not deserve to see a world where Hong Kong is independent since most of them are hypocritical about these issues to promote their own pathetic brand of unity. If they are only interested in waging an ideological war then they should be prepared to risk paying the ultimate price ...
There is no solidarity in forcing regime change to foreign entities so neoliberal progressives come off as nothing more than being selfish ...
Again pick one, it's either unity or independence ...
