The uncontested 2015 presentation.

Anywoo, who the 3 peeps who really thinks 2018 was worse than this shitshow ?

I can somewhat see why a few would hate on Nintendo's E3 2018 presentation. It was half announcements and half Smash Bros. Ultimate. There were not a lot of new announcements outside of Daemon x Machina, Killer Queen Black, Fire Emblem Three Houses (after the initial tease of a new game back in January 2017), Super Mario Party, and a few others. Some have stated their displeasure of Smash Bros. Ultimate hogging so much of the spotlight at E3.

Me, personally, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate warranted a huge presence at E3, even if it took half of the whole presentation. Along with Pokemon Let's Go, Smash Bros. Ultimate was THE holiday title for Nintendo. So far, it has shown to deserve the attention and hype as its climbing as the best-selling game in the franchise and is an evergreen system seller for the Switch. It is THE video game crossover celebration. From the pioneers like Game & Watch, the arcades, and Color TV 15 to the modern series like Splatoon, Xenoblade, and Bayonetta.

And the overall presentation, while uneven, was still pretty good and I would assume there was more positive buzz for Nintendo at E3 2018 compared to E3 2015. FE:TH is a great game with great commercial success, Let's Go sold well for what it was, Super Mario Party sold well, and Daemon x Machina will end up as a hidden gem that could have been better marketed and handled by Marvelous.
