I didn't play a lot of TLOU multiplayer but it was a nice change of pace from COD & Killzone.

It will be longer according to Neil Druckman - "What we realized pretty early on is that we were putting together Naughty Dog's most ambitious and longest game in our 35-year history. To tell this kind of story the game needed to be massive."

As for the lack of Multiplayer, I've heard good things about Uncharted and especially TLOU multiplayer, but I've personally never played the multiplayer in a Naughty Dog game. So it doesn't matter to me.
