No it’s coming next Holiday and won’t be relying on PS4 titles. Do people forget Sony hasn’t announced any big game since Ghost of Tsushima in 2017. Next year that’ll be around 3 years. Sony’s going to announce a lot next gen since they were in a position to hold things back for these last couple years.

Well this was or is the fear of some, that the radio silence may be due to lack of titles ready to go for next gen. Based on the last couple of gens it's not like they would be completely out to left field thinking it's somewhat possible. Not like PS has had nothing at all to show before during launch, but based on the heavy hitters that have been shown well in advance for quite some time, and yet now, dead silence, so it's not crazy for some to wonder.

I myself agree that PS likely has a few worthy games on schedule and that has been the plan for quite some time on their part. With all the extra polish time these PS4 games have been getting over the years, it's left plenty of time for new IP, sequels, prequels, etc, for PS5 from the get go.

It is in fact completely crazy to thing that because why would Sony be announcing games for the PS5 before they formally announce the console? In previous gens Sony’s studios were busy making current gen games right till the last year or so.

this time GG and Polyphony have been working on next gen for 3-4 years before the console comes out. Santa Monica, and Insomniac got 2-3 year head start, Bend will have a 1.5 year head start, etc. This will not be like PS4’s launch. Anyone who thinks we’re looking at a slow start needs to look deeper.
