You don’t understand.  It’s not about low numbers.

Without an adult population to maintain the world’s power grid, it takes only a few months for nuclear storage facilities to completely lose their ability to keep fuel rods submerged in refrigerated water.  The water boils over and they burst into flames.  Dozens of such facilities across the globe become nuclear disasters tens of thousands of times worse than Chernobyl, releasing a radioactive fog capable of tainting every water supply on the planet in less than a year.

That’s why I said ‘mass extinction’, and that’s an optimistic outlook considering the inability of children/babies to put out the radioactive fires.

Yeah again I didn't think too much about the practicality of this as it's not possible anyway. Let's just say that since we somehow have the technology to instantly delete all self-thinking capable humans at once, we surely have the technology to keep all the infrastructure running and raise the children without adults. Like I said earlier, robots!

first thing that happens is that when those kids all grow up to be 16 and what no they go to war against each other.

The reality is that human beings are inherently "bad". We just learn to be good.Ever seen a 2yr old break a glass cup and the go onto lie about it, or hide it? No one had to teach the child how to do that.

I believe everything we know comes from others, whether it's learning to be good or bad. In your 2yr old example, I'd say that's likely a result of the parent's overreacting whenever the child makes a mistake. If they yell at or hurt him, rather than understand the fact that he's 2, naturally he's gonna learn to do whatever it takes to avoid said punishment.

Ermm no offense, but this sounds pretty creepily authoritarian.. Like, dictatorial-type speak, let's just put it that way.

At the very least it's depressingly nihilistic and is the complete opposite of progress by any stretch of the imagination.

Most people are well-meaning in nature. Some are misguided or even have bad intentions but people don't get to decide that for others unless said others are actively negatively affecting society and/or other individuals. "Live and let live." "Don't tread on me," etc etc.. Two of my life's philosophies you might say..

And the children and babies only thing is pretty silly considering adults (particularly older adults) are the ones that carry the increased knowledge and wisdom of life experiences, prior history and prior generations.. THEY are what shape the future generations.

Ha no offense taken, I'm well aware this is crazy idea. It'd be weird if anyone actually liked it.

I do agree with those philosophy's, though probably just so I can feel better about myself. I don't actively go out of my way to hurt anyone, so I'd like to think that means I'm not a bad person, but I also don't help anyone thus not a good person either, so I take comfort in claiming to be neutral. However, part of me does feel that sitting by doing nothing while knowing better is bad and it's something we should be held accountable for.

Yes they are what has shaped the generations, that's why they need to go. :L
