What's your lowest percent run?

For Which game SM or MP?

I don't actually remember my percentage for either of the games. I usually just play through my games trying to explore everything I can, but I don't really care much about completion or anything like that. I do think though that a game should be difficult enough where you have an incentive to explore and, that is exactly where SM fails in my opinion.

I was referring to Super Metroid.

I would first ask if you have collected 100% yet?  That's the main objective for me for any Metroid game.  I can still remember my final percentage point. Took me weeks of searching every nook and cranny to find it.  By definition, collecting items makes you so powerful that I can undestand how you might feel the game gets too easy.  You are certainly way overpowered for the world once you have a high number of items collected. That's actually one of the joys of the game for me. My next question would be to ask what your fastest time was? That's my next objective.  I don't care about whether you're better than everyone else; this is just for your own sense of accomplishment.  And finally, what was the fewest percentage points you collected in order to beat the game?

Super Metroid, because of these stats, is a game that doesn't require an artificial difficulty selector.  You can create the difficulty on your own.  Trust me, I've been pretty good at times at Super, but I would never consider myself a pro.  The things people can do in the game is pretty amazing.

All that being said, if you don't find joy in those metrics, then I don't want to tell you how much to enjoy the game.  I just wanted to point out that the game actually can be very difficult depending on the way you play it.  Super Metroid is probably my most favorite, because it's almost like a first love.  But Metroid Prime is a very close second.
