Not my type of game and also I would prefer paying less for the game and more performance like I would on my PS4. Still that doesn't take away any on this effort to port a must have on the gen.

Yeah it's definitely not the version for everyone, and certainly not for those who place a lot of value on graphical fidelity, but if the game really is as great as folks say it is, then I think it's a good thing that new audiences get to play it.

And just from an academic point of view I find ports like this fascinating; I've always been interested in the technical side of how things work, and seeing games converted to hardware they were never intended to run on appeals to that side of me haha

Just like engineers of NES up to PS1 had to use a lot of creativity to work around system limitations.
