I paid $200 for Metroid Prime. That was all I needed to play on the Game Cube to make it worth it to me. I would pay $400 for the Switch 2 with a Metroid game that was as expansive or as ambitious as Breath of the Wild, even if there weren't going to be other titles released for it.

^ This, this, and THIS.

Though, as much as i'd like to see a "Prime of the Wild," the game of my dreams is already being made: Metroid Prime 4. If MP4 wasn't being made, I'd be willing to spend $500 just to make it happen. I've been waiting for that game for over 10 years.

To be fair, I don't really want Prime of the Wild.  I don't need a map that expansive at least.  But I would like some room to shinespark and some areas to cover with screw attack.  But by it's nature a Metroid game needs to feel more cramped and have more convoluted paths.  I just want the expansiveness of a new gen game when it calls for it.  The arsenal at Samus's disposal would make those areas so much fun to traverse.  Samus doesn't need a speeder bike, she has her feet!
