Colgate being bigger then KFC really isn't surprising. Colgate Palmolive is almost as big as Procter and Gamble. Colgate is a brand that is pretty much available everywhere around the world. There a still a lot of countries that don't have KFC's and KFC is really only very popular in the US and China and in the US it is not as popular as it used to be and has tons of competition from other chicken fast food places.
