The problem with sport games today is the focus on realism, the fun factor is just a side product, I must admit that there was a time when I was really into that, but today I mostly play wacky sport games like the Mario ones and hot shots golf/tennis, back in 5e 2000’s ea had this street games that were really fun, inwish we could get more of those, I also miss the neo geo geo sport games, all those games were very unrealistic but It was just about having a good time especially with friend, sadly modern sport games have kind of lost that magic , including racing games, with some exceptions obviously.
