People are being intentionally obtuse when it comes to these Trump tweets. If it was an attack on progressivism why not Bernie or Warren, if it was an attack on democrats as a whole why not pelosi or Schumer? If the tweet wasn't meant to be at least vaguely racist or xenophobic then why would he use a traditionally xenophobic talking point when talking about 4 progressive women of colour? Out of all the potential targets and all of the ways he could have framed the argument why else would he go about it in this way
