It's hard to make sense of that statement because Nintendo has no first party games for the 3DS in the pipeline anymore, so everything that is in development is for Switch by now.

Thats great if what you said is true however when they mention support than thats why i asked the question.

Support in this case means continue to sell existing hardware and software at retail, it does not mean continue to release new first party titles.
