The number of Switch games ain't really a secret since all of them are in the eShop.

You can also filter for retail Switch games (to exclude indies and mobile ports). There are currently 291 Switch games marked as retail versions:

Good to know Switch has almost surpassed 3DS in terms of physical games for sale.

Will be easy ps2 only had 3800 games.

PS2 only had 3800 retail games. In a span of 6-8 years. Switch on the other hand has 2400 games that are mainly Digital Indies. Digital distribution wasn't a thing on PS2. Nothing will ever rival PS2's library.

That’s not exactly relevant. A huge number of those PS2 games would been digital only if released today; in fact, almost all of the PS2 ports are coming out digital only. The move to digital is the result of massive shifts that have occurred in the industry and market. During the PS2 era, retail was the ONLY way to get games outside of PC. Today, retail game sales pale in comparison to digital.

Retail games bring up a lot of extra cost due to inefficiency and waste; progress is moving from them; it’s only a matter of time before the market adjusts to digital only (like on PC between 95 and 2010).

The shift is similar to how efficiency was increased by coming out with discs instead of cartridges. So comparing retail sales to digital is akin to “The SNES had more cartridge games than all Sony consoles combined.” while true, it isn’t relevant when talking about numbers of games available.
