"Again you are missing the point, perhaps intentionally." Why would I intentionally miss the point? I don't disagree with point you are trying to make, I disagree with the way you are making it. The cost of producing the system is what is important in whether the system is "overpriced" or not. It being more functional and powerful than the PSP that launched in 2004 is irrelevant.

You can only compare devices that are contemporaries with each other to determine value. Making a comparison between PSP and Switch is as illogical as comparing an IPhone X to an early 2000's Motorola. The market changes and so does pricing, and so does what is considered good value.
