Perhaps it was too early to give updated sales figures for Labo. They didn't give official sales figures for Labo until after the Holidays either. As they said, it's being treated differently from the main Nintendo Switch lineup. 1 million isn't an unsuccessful product. Niche? Sure, but far from a failure.
