The Xbox 360 isn't too much cheaper in all reality. I have both and I got my 360 the other day. If you want the Elite (which you will want if you download alot), got to pay $480 + $50 (Live) + $30 (charger). About $560 there, and that's without HD DVD.

I notice the distant textures are better on the 360, but the character models are better on the PS3. I think later this generation, the PS3 will be taking an advantage.

As far as the Wii, IMO it doesn't have any good games yet until SMG, Mario Kart, and SSB come out. Everything that I want for that system is for PS2 and GC already.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
