For me the series already fell down in quality with KHII, the introduction sequence with Roxas was so long and boring and the overall story was an uninteresting mess. I stopped playing KHIII halfway through because I wasn't really enjoying myself. I'm tempted to go back to the first game and see if the fond memories of it that I have are due to nostalgia or if the series is just not for me anymore.
