I'm glad Nintendo took down Mario Royal. Real fans should just be happy Nintendo cared so much to do it.

Nobody should be allowed to stop others from using an idea. That's what patent and copyright law does.

With that said, this dude certainly should have known that this game wouldn't fly. Nintendo is the absolute worst in terms of being IP Nazis.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they are suing people for naming their kids Mario.
