Not tired yet? Well, then, here comes the rest of the news:

Tim Schafer says the Microsoft deal will let Double Fine stay 'experimental'
https://www.pcgamer.com/tim-schafer-says-the-microsoft-deal-will-let-double-fine-stay-experimental/
Tim Schafer offered a simple, to-the-point explanation for agreeing to Microsoft's proposed acquisition of Double Fine Productions: Money. He was joking, sort of (maybe?) but he took a more serious tone in an interview with Gamasutra in which he talked about the studio's long-term prospects under the Microsoft flag.

Fortnite will drop DirectX 9 support when Season 10 goes live
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-will-drop-directx-9-support-when-season-10-goes-live/
The Fortnite system requirements dictate that you must have, among other things, a bare minimum of an Intel HD 4000 GPU in order to play the game. As it turns out, that was a bit of a fudge, because the game will actually run on DX9 GPUs. But it will be un-fudged when Season 10 rolls around.

Fortnite's 14 Days of Summer event kicks off tomorrow
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnites-14-days-of-summer-event-kicks-off-tomorrow/
Just as Epic shuts its office doors in sunny North Carolina to give its employees two weeks off, Fortnite's 14 Days of Summer event is set to begin tomorrow, bringing daily events, unvaultings, and rewards.

Hearthstone's next update will Hall of Fame two cards and add eight new ones
https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-next-update-will-hall-of-fame-two-cards-and-add-eight-new-ones/
Lately, Blizzard has been tinkering with Hearthstone's balance much more actively than usual. Team 5 nerfed Rogue before it got totally out of hand, and made the first card buffs we've seen since the game was in beta as part of the recent Rise of the Mechs update. The result has been a meta which has felt fresh and healthy longer into the latest expansion's lifespan.

Here's a trailer for Hitman 2's New York bank level, which arrives tomorrow
https://www.pcgamer.com/heres-a-trailer-for-hitman-2s-new-york-bank-level-which-arrives-tomorrow/
Hitman 2's first major new location, a New York-set bank level, is finally coming tomorrow. The trailer above gives you an idea of what to expect: a heavily-guarded bank, naturally, and an introduction to the deserving target you'll be taking out, director Athena Savalas.
>> *Ehem*, today.

Cyberpunk 2077 will have more romance options than The Witcher 3
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-romance-options/
CD Projekt Red has said it's working to give players a ton of options when creating their characters in Cyberpunk 2077, including a range of gender expressions, and its lead quest designer has said these choices will mean way more romance options than the strictly heterosexual relationships featured in The Witcher 3.

Cyberpunk 2077 will not have a morality system
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-will-not-have-a-morality-system/
CD Projekt will avoid trying to separate right from wrong as a game mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077 by simply not having a morality system at all. Choices will have consequences (it wouldn't be much of an RPG otherwise) but quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz told GamingBolt that grappling with the big philosophical questions of the universe—"Is it okay to kill people for money?" for instance—will be left entirely to the player and their conscience.

Warner Bros. boss says subscription-based gaming won't replace conventional purchases
https://www.pcgamer.com/warner-bros-boss-says-subscription-based-gaming-wont-replace-conventional-purchases/
The videogame industry is gearing up to take another run at streaming games, and with the muscle of companies like Google and Microsoft behind it, coupled with increased accessibility to broadband internet in general, it might actually work out this time. We said in March that in a broad sense, it's a race to become "the Netflix of games," which obviously implies a deeply disruptive impact on the videogame ecology as a whole. But Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad told VentureBeat that he sees the situation somewhat differently.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service open beta is like Goat Simulator crossed with UPS
https://www.pcgamer.com/total-reliable-delivery-service-open-beta-is-like-goat-simulator-crossed-with-ups/
The title of Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a lie, because the delivery service in question is not actually reliable at all. And not because the guy says he rang the doorbell but clearly he didn't because you were there all day, literally waiting for your package. No, it's because there are so many other, more interesting things to do, like going for hot air balloon rides and trying to launch underpowered boats off of water-ski ramps.

It's you versus a giant worm in free sci-fi adventure Fleshworms
https://www.pcgamer.com/its-you-versus-a-giant-worm-in-free-sci-fi-adventure-fleshworms/
Fleshworms. It's a great name for a sci-fi game, if a slightly inaccurate one, as you're only facing one wormy monster here. This is the third entry in Malte Burup's Tales From The Outer Zone series, a bunch of connected, short point and clicks set in a slightly pulpy, vaguely Moebius-y science fiction universe.

TaleSpire wants to be the digital tabletop roleplaying system of your dreams
https://www.pcgamer.com/talespire-wants-to-be-the-digital-tabletop-roleplaying-system-of-your-dreams/
TaleSpire is meant to be a freeform toolbox for roleplaying adventures that you build yourself. You have painted miniatures, terrain in which to move them around, and scary monsters for them to fight. As a dungeon master, you'll be able to design towns, dungeons, and whatever other settings you can imagine with a built-in set of tiles and components. When your heroes encounter evil things, you can tell them to roll for initiative, and they can throw pleasingly realistic dice to see where they wind up in the turn order.

Heavy Rain is out now on PC with a free demo
https://www.pcgamer.com/heavy-rain-is-out-now-on-pc-with-a-free-demo/
Quantic Dream's thriller Heavy Rain, formerly only available on PlayStation, has now launched a PC version. It's available now through the Epic Games Store with a free demo.
It's a David Cage game that features an emotionally shattered dad, a doughy private detective, a plucky journalist, and FBI agent as playable characters in a drama about a serial killer who targets young boys. As a game, it's more a piece of interactive fiction and storytelling, and Cage's idiosyncratic approach to game design has been the subject of no small number of memes.
