World of Warcraft's 8.2 update, named Rise of Azshara, arrives on June 25, Blizzard announced today alongside a new trailer (above). For those frustrated by Battle for Azeroth's wonky Heart of Azeroth and Azerite Armor progression systems, Rise of Azshara should be a welcome update, as it introduces massive reworks that aim to make grinding for better gear a much more enjoyable process. And that's without even mentioning that Rise of Azshara will also introduce two gorgeous new zones, a new mega-dungeon, and, eventually, a new raid.

Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the biggest hits of this year's E3, but it didn't go over without criticism. The demo and trailers led some to express concerns about trans representation in the game, while an article by Rock, Paper, Shotgun expressed discomfort at "shooting at predominantly black people labelled as animals," referring to the Animals gang in the gameplay demo.
The criticisms attracted the attention of Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the Cyberpunk RPG on which the game is based.

The retro-shooter Maximum Action looked potentially promising but thin when it went live on Early Access in September 2018. Things appear to have changed rather dramatically since then: New Blood Interactive, the publisher of Dusk and Amid Evil, has revealed that it's been working on the game with developer George Mandell since early this year, which has enabled a significant overhaul of the interface and expanded plans for the future.

Deusimator, then. Like Pacific Rim, it's a game about battling enormous monsters, mainly with giant robo-fists rather than with piddly missile weapons. Or rather, it's a game about battling one enormous monster, which is wandering about a desert, minding its own monstery business.
