Now that changing life circumstances for my and my friends have made LANs a thing of the past, that's no longer a concern, and I do pretty much all my gaming at home. |
I game at home mainly, but for planes and road trips in cars I want to take as little as possible. Also, when I game at home, I don't like sitting in front of the TV nonstop so I'll switch rooms I'm in, or sit on my deck or something. I like the switches portability not mainly to leave the house, but rather to be able to relax wherever on my property I want to and not just the room with the TV.
And I'm just used to digital now. I don't want to have to walk to the room with the cartridges and swap something out. I want it to be with me at all times.
