It would appear that while assets will be used in the sequel similar to how Majora's Mask was handled, development process will be all that will be shared between these two sequels.  Many wondered if this game would take place in a new land, alternate reality, or Hyrule as we know it.

The man behind the game himself has given us an answer, and it appears that it will take place in the same Hyrule we grew to love in the first game.

It will be interesting to see how they handle this, and I have mixed emotions.  On one hand I was looking forward to exploring a new land or reality similar to how Termina was handled.  On the other hand, Hyrule in BotW was so massive, there is a ton of untapped potential that can be used.  It took them so long to make the world that it would be a shame to not utilize it as to it's fullest.

So what do you guys think?  Are you happy about this, or does this leave you disappointed?  Also what kind of changes to the land could this new threat impose to keep the experience fresh?

The possibilities are endless and I cannot wait to see what you all have to say regarding this decision, and what how you think the revising of Hyrule will be handled.  I will say this, holiday 2020 or March 2021 is looking a lot more possible with this news.

Honestly, that's disappointing.

Because the same world again? But same world # same map only, they could expand and make the new part. All the previous direct sequel Zelda games before didn't have the completely same map. But yeah, we don't know yet
