Yeah, this predictably isn't going down well with the core fans. Yeah the millions and millions of casual fans will roll with it, but this could quickly become a very loud complaint.
The most foolish part of how this was announced was not telling us how many that entails or giving any assurances on what kind of selection we are getting. That will determine a lot of how much this stings. And it would be wise to merge in the National Dex via patch es and updates later on.
