8/10. Very good, not spectacular. Very safe, as expected. Idk what some people are smoking with this idea that Sony bailing on E3 meant MS should have went balls to the wall blowing their entire next gen xCloud wad.

They showcased 14 of their own games. That’s a ton of Microsoft games. Yet the goal posts are shifting, it’s still not good enough for some because we already knew about some of them, or they aren’t “big enough”.

And what they did show, we know it will all be out by the end of 2020. That’s what I love most about MS E3’s, it’s very rare of them to show something that is years and years off. And what they showed mostly looked great. The Ori boss trailer was fucking amazing. It’s sad that PS4 owners will be able to buy Wasteland 3 on their console but not something beautiful like Ori. Mother fucking Battletoads with 3 player couch co-op... yes please. The greatest racing game ever gets an amazing expansion. Is there anything more Forza Horizon than watching a Lego race car land a huge jump while racing against an old Camaro and Chevelle while a huge truck flies by on a straight away?

Outer Worlds gave me a big Fallout 3 vibe, which can only mean good things. Flight Simulator looked gorgeous and is coming to console. Age of Empires II looked great. They bought Double Fine. An amazing studio. Bleeding Edge is right up my alley as a Battleborn fanboy.

Only potential negative was Wasteland 3, HUGE shift in tone from 2. But if the game plays well, I’m all for it.
