The top-end TVs from Samsung and LG have supported 120Hz since 2018, Sony has some 120Hz (1440p/1080p) sets aswell.
120Hz was used in PC monitors with nVidia 3D Vision compatibility, the TV standard for 3D signal transmission was "framepacking" (the pictures for both eyes were "packed" into a single frame with a clearly defined black border between them) and only really used at 24, 30 and 60Hz.
