Should be peak year either this year or next year in Japan.  I'll probably go with next year considering AC and mainline Pokemon are releasing towards the end of the year.

As we have seen precisely these last few weeks, a huge 10M release produces a boost no more than 5 months...This was the impact of Smash and SMBU we can say. Now the boost effect is over. I still believe strongly that FY2019 is the peak year since the Switch started to decline now for 5 weeks in a row in Japan in "standard empty period".
