quick question: how is hitman 2 compared to 1 (2016)?

I'm amazed at how much fun Hitman is (though at the same time I cant play a lot of it since each epi seems very samey so I am going to break it up while playing other games)

Is Hitman 2 pretty much just season 2, or does it add more variables to each episode

I played it before a lot of the updates, according to Steam the last time I played it was December 10th. So I didn't do a lot of the new challenges, missions, or limited contracts. But yeah, it's basically just Hitman Season 2. Which can be a problematic when it comes to glitches, menus, and the like. Mind you, I played it on a PC.

However, the level design is WAY more consistent in Hitman 2 than Hitman 2016. Sapienza, Paris, and Hokkaido are still probably my favorite levels of the reboot, but the other 3 levels in Hitman 2016 are just so linear and mediocre. Whereas Hitman 2 has pretty consistent highs.

Admittedly, I really need to get back into it and play more. It helps that you can play Hitman 2016's Remastered levels in Hitman 2 if you own the first game. If you don't mind replaying missions to see what kind of different things you can do, Hitman 2 is an easy purchase. Mind you - it's really more like 5 levels than 6 this time around, but none of them are as mediocre as Colorado, Marrakesh or Bangkok.
