My point to Nathan wasn't about portability, but about power and the fact that he dismissed the Switch for the PS4 - while talking about Japan sales. But I guess you're right, it's portable while all the other don't. It doesn't strictly need to be portable, but that certainly helps on the Japanese market these days. |
About the argument of power, did y'all ever thought about those first party Nintendo games running on a more powerful console can make better experience? Just like Xenoblade chronicles 2, it would be an excellent RPG if I can play it on just standard 1080p instead of 720p at top even when docked, u know what? even 4K is already almost half mainstream now, how can u put up with a game running at 720p/unstable 30FPS on a 300 bucks console? not even to mention the u know how ugly it is on handheld mode. For a lot of third party games, I don't usually bother complaining that, but are y'all just satisfied? didn't ever want anything better? For me, it should've been better if not those compromises. All above I said is just part of fact and part of my personal complaint, I DO NOT downplay anything about switch, it is because I like the system, I hope it can do better as simply a gamer. And Bofferbrauder, if you think I should go with PC if I don't like compromise, then I'll tell you, PC don't give me GOW, HZD then I bought PS4 pro, PC don't give me RDR2 in 4K then I bought one X, if I wanna play games at ultra setting, PC turned on, u want no compromise? just one is never OK, that's why I hope every one can do their best.
