I did mention some impressive UE4 games. Hellblade on Switch is not a great looking game in my opinion, but that game wasn't built for Switch anyway. The Yoshi game on Switch has an unusually low resolution albeit 60 fps. Maybe the Yoshi game should have been UE3, could have had similar visuals with a better resolution. I mean its like 600p? That's pretty bad,

Hellblade on Switch does suffer that characteristic unevenness of being cut down from stronger hardware but at its best it looked better than anything else on the platform so far in my opinion.

As for Yoshi, it may not be the highest res game but to me it still looks beautiful thanks to its charming art direction and fantastic materials.

I actually feel Doom and Wolfenstein II are more impressive on Switch than Hellblade. They put more enemies on the screen, large environments, textures seem sharper, NPCs, etc.

I think there is balance where a game can maintain a charming presentation with a higher resolution. Maybe the new Yoshi game could have found that with UE3 as some developers have this gen. As I mentioned before some UE3 games look comparable to modern games with better performance and/or resolutions. There are plenty of Nintendo games that look great, hit 60 fps, but don't compromise on resolution that much.
