It CAN be a great deal, if you are planning on buying a near-brand-new game when it is still full price - if the game is eligible.
I don't see myself ever using it, though, because the only times I buy games while still full price, I'm likely preordering them, and if I do that from Amazon, I get quite a bit more of a discount.
But this is still a great move, I think.
