IMO, try looking at some of the indie games. There are SO many gems among them that IMO are more creatively rewarding than the higher production big studio games... which, unfortunately, seem to only mainly do well at replicating experiences we've had since the PS2 era. Occasionally you get something special like Breath of the Wild, which goes far beyond simple replication of experience, but those sorts of games are rare.

But if you are looking for a proven experience and don't care about outdated graphics, something like Final Fantasy 7 would be far more rewarding than some of the more recent RPGs - which, IMO, lack the good storytelling and artistry of the game (yes, there is a lot of artistic merit behind those outdated 32-bit graphics and advanced midi sounds). But that's just me, I'm a fan of the classics and the cutting edge in creativity.

But, whatever your preference, there is an abundance of choice on the Switch now.
