Looks like Shield Hero is suffering from Re:Zero syndrome. Great dramatic start which then gradually becomes nothing short of comically. You can't have both Myne in her current form and still want to be taken seriously. It's still enjoyable enough to watch but it has pretty much degraded from a seinen drama to a shounen comedy.
Looks like we really do need that Claymore remake to have some solid fantasy dramas again.
