I think that what bothered me most about the "girl power" scene was that a lot of the women there were useless in this particular situation. Captain Marvel didn't need them. And then, I'm not sure if they even actually did anything. It's like me saying "I have to fight Mike Tyson" and a bunch of random babies that I've never met showing up and saying "We got your back!"
Aside from that, I'm cool with it. I mean how many times did random groups wind up with their established franchise members in obvious group photos? It was a moment. It looked good. I didn't read too deeply into it.
