Another really insightful post. I found that number to seemed a little bunk too. I have never heard of suicide being for that reason, ever (murder, potentially yes, but not suicide). It would shock me if drug addictions mental illness and grief were not the main factors. As well, suicide rates tend to be lower in countries with high divorce rates, so to say one of the major reasons for suicide is divorce seems to go against the statistics.

It is classed as depression, financial difficulties or homelessness which is directly caused by divorce. Depression because the government denies him access to his children, financial hell because any where from 40% to 100% of his earnings are being taken and he can barely feed himself and homelessness because the bias courts stripped him of his assets.
