I've thought plenty about it. That was just the top 10, and as you may note I combined a lot of stuff like "proper sequels" and "spin-offs with minor characters". I think Perfect Dark might have been taken with Rare when Microsoft bought them, but like you said, MS is getting cozy with Nintendo, so anything could happen. Nintendo could make it into their own Metal Gear. But there are a ton of IPs they've allowed to just fade into history, I just picked the most glaring ones with the most obvious potential for money for the top 10. Golden Sun needs reviving. Diddy Kong Racing deserves reviving, though it would probably require work with MS and Rare. Super Mario RPG deserves a sequel, especially if they're not going to make proper Paper Marios anymore and the Mario & Luigi series continues to veer off course as well. Pokemon Snap deserves a sequel, particularly if they keep up their work with VR (though it also should have gotten a Wii U sequel). Kirby Air Ride deserves a sequel, especially if Sakurai is truly done working on Smash for good now. The Mother series deserves a sequel, and the only reason Mother 3 being officially translated was left out of my top 10 was because I just don't care anymore as I'd rather just play the fan translation and have them continue the series. There are a ton of IPs that deserve little eShop games as sequels, like Ice Climbers especially, on the scale of other eShop only IPs like Pushmo or Dillon's Rolling Western. R.O.B. could be reborn as a Labo accessory that utilizes Augmented Reality gaming mechanics. So much endless potential in their bottomless pit of dead IPs, I could go on forever.

As I suspected, I forgot it was a rare title but makes sense now that I played it on Xbox. Hopefully with MS trying to build their IP they will see the merit in reviving Perfect dark. Metal gear status though, nah  I doubt it, they could get a solid IP out of it though.

Alright, maybe not Metal Gear level, but it could be on the level of Goldeneye, but without depending on rights to the James Bond license.
