I'm a no this, it just cost a lot of money to port the soc/apu to 7nm, so no we won't see a super slim PS4 and if we did giantbomb/eurogamer/kotaku would probably leaked it by now.

I don't know about this. Sony could be looking at selling another 30 - 40M PS4 Super Slims. A super Slim has the potential to allow them to move the price point down much lower, reaching new markets, and mainting a healthy profit margin. Between profit on each unit, and increases in PS+, PS Now, PS Vue, and Game Sales, the R&D would be returned upon multiple times. Reaching that lower price point to help increase the PSN userbase, and increase subscriptions to PlayStation Services would be the key to this investment. PS+, PS Now, PS Vue, and Digital Software Sales are where the massive profits are made, and that requires getting the Hardware, OS, and Store Front in the hands of as many users as possible.

As for hearing from mainstream sites, they typically like to report once things are verified, because they are trying to build a reliable reputation. I wouldn't expect to hear from them until actual images of hardware or packaging start making the rounds.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
