I went Xbone first this gen because of Titanfall, Kinect, and the voice stuff. I still use the Xbone more for gaming because imho the UI, controller, and network are all superior, but my Kinect is sitting unplugged (I think I’d have to buy an adapter for it to work on Scorpio anyway) and I don’t use the voice stuff. I’d still have my TV hooked up through the Xbone but since they removed the snap feature, I don’t care to use that functionality anymore.

It kind of mirrors the shift from Microsoft as the gen has gone on and as they’ve lost/canned more and more of the high brass responsible for the Xbone vision and focused more on the core gaming experience, that’s what I’ve used mine more and more for.

Idk if I’d call the PS4 boring, but it was certainly safe opposed to Xbone and WiiU. But it had that mindshare and price and that’s really why it won. It’s always had brand power outside of the US and became the mainstream “it” console even in the US. It’s got the weird stuff and now it’s the console for the Calls of Doody brehs too, the 1-2 combo.
