I talked about this based on using the PS4 controller compared to using my Xbox controller.  The Xbox controller click instantly compared to how much give the PS4 controller does.  I actually wished I bought the game for the Xbox because there has been way to many times I felt I was perfect on my parries but because the PS4 controller has so much give, that slight delay screwed me over.

I also believe the PC version does not suffer the frame pacing issue the Xbox and PS4 does which would mean using the Xbox controller on the PC should give the absolute best experience in the game.

It makes a great deal of difference, I would often get hit when trying to block after attacking for so long and I thought I was missing he deflect timing but it turns out it was just the controller. I would not have realized this and I really hope the Ds5 has these Xbox like bummers.

I've also died to the frame pacing both in fights and while grappling. It sucks that these little issues could cause such a drastic reduction in ability, It makes sense because of the nature of his game but you would think they'd extend the deflect timing by a few milliseconds to address this and offset the input lag. If I noticed it surely the QA testers must have as well.

From Software has always had these frame pacing issues within their games. For the Souls games its not such a big deal because you are not trying to perfect parry within that game but within this one, the slightest hitched can cause you nightmares.  This game should be a 60FPS standard due to how you have to play it.  I hope a patch comes out and smooth a lot of the frame issues and stabilize the frame rate if possible.
