So you'll just accept Snoke as being more powerful than her....why?  Snoke can be super powerful with no context but Rey can't?

First off, it is pretty ridiculous that Snoke's origin was never explained, regardless of how powerful he is.

And second. Villains are supposed to be powerful. They're supposed to feel like a thread! That's what they do!
