I weigh 75 kg(165 pounds) and 1.80 m(5'11") and my Vegan diet is working for me.
Most people that are not Vegan weigh a lot more than I do.
I am proof that my diet works for me, I only listen to Vegan You tubers for diet advice.A low fat diet is far better for health than a high protein diet.

I will often eat 0.5kg/1.1 pound of meat every day. You bet I weigh more than you do. You bet that is muscle mass and not fat.

If it wasn't for the fact I require some macro-nutrients from green veg, more of my intake would probably be meat.

I don't eat starchy veg, fruits, berries, grains, sugar... None of that.

I am proof my diet works for me, I am happy not to have a confirmation bias and listen to other science-backed perspectives.

I found by adopting a whole foods, unprocessed Vegan diet, nuts and beans are my sources of protein are better for health than eating dairy/meat.

Nuts and Beans do not have the proper levels of Protein I require. I am an Athlete. I lift weights, I work my ass off. I need muscle mass to perform my job and save lives.
The easiest way to accomplish that goal is... You guessed it. Meat.

Vegetables are low in sugar, low in fat and high in minerals and vitamins and fibre that are needed to maintain health.
Fruit are mainly water, minerals, vitamins, fibre and natural unprocessed sugar.

Fake news.
Not all vegetables are low in sugar and fats.

Avocado's are extremely high in fats.
Vegetables like Potato's, Sweet Potatos, Carrots, Beets, Corn, Pumpkin, Tomatoes, Red Peppers and more have a fair amount of sugar/carbs.

But you know what is generally low in sugar/carbs? This thing called meat.

Does anyone believe fried chicken/fish/eggs and steaks are better for health than fresh salad ,steamed vegetables with rice and beans?
A kilogram of steak is better for health than a kilogram of bananas?

See. There is this little thing called "science". - If you have hit all your daily required macro's except protein, then a kilo of steak is better for you than a kilo of bananas.

Eggs are also one of the healthiest foods you can have, it's macro-nutrients perfectly align with the ketogenic diet as well.

But at least we have confirmed you have a confirmation bias though... And you will ignore any science-based perspectives that contradict your own perspective which you have openly stated.

Youtube videos, evidence does not maketh. There are Youtubes which assert the Earth is flat for christ sake.

You should try looking at more science-based sources of evidence for your dietary information.

Give Vegan diet another go.

Or not? It's not for everyone.

So is meat.

Fad diets focus on limiting carbs, high protein dairy and meat consumption are bad for health.

Low-carb diets are not a fad diet. They have been around for centuries. - Here it's even been documented from 1767... In-fact low-carb diets used to be the default treatment for diabetes before insulin became prevalent. The more you know.

Vegan Gains is an American Youtuber and a body builder and his diet is proof Vegan diet is good for body building.

I workout with a vegan body builder.
If it wasn't for the fact that we can now buy mass proteins that are based on things like Peas that are vegan friendly, Vegan body building would require the user to work out twice as hard and eat twice as much to achieve the same results.

You simply need proteins, nuts and berries can help, but only so much.

Durian rider focuses on cycling and his Fruitarian diet is proof that his diet is working for him and he fitter and better shape than you or me will ever achieve in our lives.

Okay... But can he drag someone who weighs 140kg in 80'C temperatures through a burning building?

Dark_Lord_2008 said:

I believe in both Durianrider and VeganGains and I listen to their opinion as gospel truth that Vegan diets are good for health and fitness.
It is the cruelty, torture, mistreatment and murder of animals that are a huge part of meat and dairy industries that Vegans hate.

This is how religion and fake news gets propagated.
What you believe is ultimately irrelevant, the truth is what is relevant and for the truth to be substantiated you need to take an evidence based approach, not what "feels good" or "seems right" to you.

Fact of the matter is... Those who subsist only on meat have some of the longest and healthiest lives on the planet. Don't believe me? Here. Have some Mc'Evidence.

It all comes down to moderation in the end... Obesity is purely down to calories in/calories out, if you are in a calorie deficit... It doesn't matter if you were only eating animal fat or teaspoons of sugar and nothing else, you will still loose weight.

At the end of the day I have zero problem going out to a pub and eating 1.2kg of steak... And I will forever continue to do so.
