Which means 97% of the time, the UK voted alongsides the EU members majority.

These 3% of "freedoms" you give up (most of which are just decent things that protect the rights of the people) and now regain, will come at a huge cost.

Your economy is gonna take a huge hit for it.

I think brexit is like the UK shooting itself in the foot.
However at this point, I think its for the best as well.

The UK never really believed in the EU project, and was mainly in it for self benefits (economically), and always looked down on the EU members, from their "high horses".
UK has a "victim superiorty" complex, and has spent the last 20years blameing the EU for everything under the sky that went wrong in the UK.
It was a easy scape goat for politicans.... because of this people in the UK have a twisted view on the EU.

UK is no longer the "empire on which the sun never sets", and I think reality is gonna smack them in the face soon.

This is the exact sort of fear mongering that people hate, imported chicken 😂 like we have no way of getting our own, what will happen to all our chickens? Will they go on strike so We are FORCED to get them from America?

Also access to certain meds from America, that's great news, cancer patients offer die here because of treatment we can't get from America without having to travel to get it!

Irish hard border? The EU have already stated there will be no hard border that they can do in land checks

We were also told with us mearly voting to leave we would fall into a recession...... Never happend..... We may no longer be that empire anymore but the commonwealth still consists of 53 countries  were home to the most common spoken language in the world, the 5th largest economy we have the best tech hub in Europe .. We'll do just fine 

A border goes both ways, and those land checks are with the backstop in place. Without the backstop (which was a British idea to begin with) a hard border will come, even the WTO said that it has to be even with 0 tariffs.

Cancer patients die mostly from the growing waiting lists due to the lack of doctors, which increasingly came from other EU countries. But as you surely can expect, that source of doctors has dried up with the Brexit, making the waiting lists get even longer and longer:

The main problem with the healthcare in the UK is just a clear lack of doctors and nurses. Many came from the EU to fill the gaps, but that ended and are quitting since they don't know how it will continue for them, and the very restrictive immigration policies are keeping doctors from other countries out, too.

Worst part would be radio pharmaceuticals, which are used mostly in diagnostics but also some treatments, are supplied by Euratom and due to their short-lived nature, cannot be stockpiled. With a No-deal brexit the UK wouldn't have a way to source those anymore, and sourcing from other countries would make them hugely more expensive (they need to be flown in, shipping takes too long). And that's just one thing of a long list of things that will become hard to source.

The thing with washed chicken and cows on steroids is choice. I'm happy to buy 'chlorinated' chicken but I won't be buying hormone beef. I don't mind antibiotics but I'd like to discourage the use of steds. What I want isn't important, it's about lowering prices for the poorest in society. If American food outlets (McDs, Dominos, Subway, Chik FilA) can dominate Europe off the back of 'chlorinated' chicken then maybe it's worth a look.
As long as the poorest finally get a free market choice as opposed to being forced to buy the premium version every week for their whole lives, I'm OK with it.
It's all very well for the organic lot to want natural (often infected) meat and produce but it isn't fair to force higher prices on people who are willing to take the trade-off.

Our aristocracy kept us poorer and weaker for centuries using protectionism using legislation like the Corn Laws. The EU is no different.

Just FYI, McDo went bankrupt in France a couple years ago (hence why the french McDo ain't really affiliated to the US anymore) and Chik-A-Fil retired from most markets due to nobody wanted to eat there. Hardly any domination of these brands. But in any case they have to comply to local standards and do source their meat and produce locally (it's actually a lot cheaper than to import them).

The poorest will get to choose between... the premium plus and he super duper premium plus, at least in price. A hard Brexit will crash the Pound further, making all and any imports more expensive. It already lost 20% in value after the vote and the import taxes added to the higher prices of some foods will do the rest.

Seriously, it'all in the premise. The UK is going to have import taxes whereas there weren't any from the EU. You really think that food, which was too expensive to transport to the UK before compared to European food, now suddenly will get cheaper? Even if the tariffs would be removed, that still wouldn't make it cheaper in most cases - just unlivable for British farmers as they can't keep up anymore with no protection and no subsidies.

chlorinated is another word for washed. it baffles me that europeans actually believe Romanian chicken is kept and reared to a higher standard than Californian chicken.

Chlorinated is washed in a bin full of chlorine. That is not allowed in the EU. Fruits and veg get washed, but not like that.

And yes, Romanian chicken is of higher standard, as the practices used in the US, both at growing and handling poultry and how they get handled at and after the butcher store, are outlawed in Europe and often checked up upon.

But hey, eat your chlorinated chicken of you prefer. At least you can't blame the EU then if you get literally sick of it.
